Pair of Patinated Bronze Table Lamps
France, c. 1950s
A pair of candlesticks in patinated bronze, each raised on a tripod base with claw feet and a slender bamboo-form stem — converted to table lamps by the gallery. The design is closely in the manner of Alberto Giacometti, whose iconic bronze lamp bases from the 1930s–50s remain among the most influential objects in 20th-century decorative arts. Paired with new crisp linen shades and rewired with twisted black cord.
Great vintage condition with some minor flaws related to age and use. Paired with new crisp linen shades and rewired with twisted black cord.
Height: 25.5 cm (10 inches)
