Louise ADELBORG (1885–1971)

Small Ceramic Vase
Sweden, c. 1920

Elegant ceramic vase by Louise Adelborg, produced by Rörstrand during the Swedish Grace period. Refined, tapering form with a softly glazed cream surface, accented by a gilded, scalloped detail at the base. Subtle tonal variation and light surface wear consistent with age. Signed "L. A-g" and marked with Rörstrand's crown logo to the underside.

About the Designer

Louise Adelborg (Sweden, 1885–1971) was a prominent Swedish ceramic artist and designer closely associated with Rörstrand in the early 20th century. She played a key role in shaping the Swedish Grace movement, blending classical restraint with modern simplicity.
